Synopsis

In Cargo Over Burma, part of the Cavalcade of America series, the story unfolds at an American air base in India, where soldiers prepare for a critical mission. Technical Sergeant Joey Palazzola, played by Michael O'Shea, is struggling with feelings of insignificance as he reflects on his role in the war. His mother’s letter, asking for a detailed account of his experiences, weighs heavily on him. Joey feels like a mere freight handler rather than a soldier, which adds to his internal conflict as he faces the realities of combat.
