Synopsis
In the poignant episode Bolivar, The Liberator, the story unfolds in December 1830, where the ailing Simon Bolivar, portrayed by Paul Muny, is brought ashore in Santa Marta, Colombia. As he arrives, the tension is palpable; soldiers are wary of the sick man, fearing pestilence. However, when they realize they are in the presence of Bolivar, the revered liberator of South America, their demeanor shifts. Bolivar, once a beacon of hope for freedom, now lies on the brink of death, grappling with the weight of his legacy.
