Synopsis

In Cavalcade of America: Anne Sullivan Macy, the narrative opens with Anne Sullivan, a blind girl trapped in a life of darkness and poverty at the Tewkesbury Arms House. The conditions are harsh, and Anne, along with her friend Maggie, learns that a committee is visiting to evaluate the institution. Filled with hope, Anne is determined to seize this opportunity to escape and pursue an education, a dream that seems almost unattainable for someone in her position.
