Synopsis

In The John Lomax Murder Case, Detective Danny Clover finds himself in the midst of a perplexing investigation when he meets John Lomax, a man who claims to be alive despite being reported dead from a hit-and-run accident. The scene is set in the Dover Hotel, where Clover is approached by Louis Box, who insists that something is terribly wrong in room 812. Upon entering, Clover discovers Lomax, who is inebriated and laughing, revealing that he has been living in the shadow of his own death for days. The absurdity of the situation raises immediate questions about identity and the circumstances surrounding the supposed accident.
