In the episode titled Buried Treasure from All Star Western Theatre, the Riders of the Purple Sage set out for the ghost town of Eureka, a once-thriving settlement now reduced to a mere shadow of its former self. The town is inhabited by a few lonely souls—criminals, misfits, and hermits—who have chosen to escape the complexities of society. The Riders, too, are seeking refuge, but their motivations run deeper than mere curiosity. They are haunted by their past and the presence of a particular individual, Johnny, whose saxophone playing has already caused them trouble in previous counties.
